Contract Variations
Once a project has started, tasks outside the original scope of the project are often allocated
by the client.
Managing the details of these variations adds to the administrative challenges for all involved in the project.
Often these contract variations have rules applied to them that are outside the scope of the original contract.
For example there may be a limit on the number of hours that can be claimed against such a variation or there may be a limit on the cost paid for performing the variation.
Often the variations need to be managed as a sub-project of the original project, yet all data is to be integrated as per usual.
WorksLink has been employed on projects with many variations to reduce the complexity and improve the accuracy of reporting.
WorksLink has been used to manage variation claims and payments by integrating with client systems.
