Featured Functionality from RGP5 Project
Business Hierarchy - This project consisted of two companies in Joint Venture and a third joining the Joint Venture to form a Consortium reporting to the client.
Accommodation - The camp provider company used WorksLink over the internet to keep track of which employ was in each room. This kept the site administration staff up to date automatically.
Alerts - WorksLink includes a facility that automatically notifies end users of data discrepencies in WorksLink. For example a site may mandate that Costcodes used to record hours against Staff cannot also be used to record hours against Direct employees.
Secondly Alerts notifies end users of reports that have not yet been run. On the RGP5 site this includes a Daily Hours Upload report for the client.
Client QMR - The Client QMR on the RGP5 project is of identical format to that used on the Argyle project. However the report is significantly smaller and less of a headache.
Corporate Timesheets - Various corporate timesheets are generated from WorksLink for subsequent upload into corporate payroll systems.
Daily Hours Upload - On this project the client requires that hours on site or leave information for each employee be uploaded into one of their systems each day. WorksLink automatically generates this spreadsheet.
Pre Site Checklist - Before mobilising to site each Employee is required to have satisfied a number of criteria. The Pre Site Checklist is used to ensure people arrive at site fully ready to go onto site.
Two WorksLink Systems - The Joint Venture has one WorksLink system while the third company in the Consortium has a second WorksLink system. Part of the reason for this is that different internal Costcode naming conventions are used by the two parties. Reports are aggregated across the two systems that run on the same server.
Weekly Site Report - The Weekly Site Report is mostly identical to that used on the Argyle project. One significant modification is the inclusion of Indigenous Hours reporting as this was a requirement for this site.
